Welcome almost Summer, I love you. I missed you with tears in my eyes. Hello smoothie bowls for breakfast or any time really. This one is the matcha. One-two matcha-cha. That’s me in the kitchen, dancing as I make this bowl of bliss.
I wish I loved green tea. I have tried to “like” green tea on several occasions, especially when trying to convince myself that I can live without coffee, ha ha I can’t. In the realm of green tea, I do however like my mate matcha. Your cousin green tea is okay in my books but matcha you are fabulous.
Do you blame me for liking matcha so much? There’s good reason. One serving of matcha equals 10 cups of green tea, see matcha has saved the day already! Love that I can stomach and enjoy this powder goodness. I feel like I’m getting ahead in life. Go me, hey go you. Don’t even get me started on the antioxidants, they are off the charts.
This matcha smoothie bowl is nutritionally superb and fun to add your favorite toppings to. Throw on sliced fruit, nuts, chia or hemps seeds for some texture and frills.
